About

About document processing

It targets the work of opening attachments, retyping numbers from invoices, IDs, forms and contracts, renaming files and chasing missing pages. Typical builds read supplier invoices into accounting software, check ID and policy documents against a CRM record, fill contracts and proposals from deal data and send them for e-signature, and file everything in the correct folder with a consistent name. Typical results are 60 to 80 percent less manual entry, fewer typos in critical fields and documents found in seconds instead of minutes. Mirapps combines OCR, AI extraction and validation rules, sets a confidence threshold for each field and sends anything uncertain to a person for a quick check before it is saved.

FAQ

Common questions

Which types of documents can be processed automatically?

Most business documents work well: invoices, receipts, purchase orders, ID cards, forms, bank statements, insurance policies, delivery notes and contracts. Clean PDFs and photos taken on a phone are both supported. Handwritten fields and very poor scans are harder, so we test with a sample of the business's real documents before deciding what can be fully automated.

How accurate is AI document extraction?

On typical printed documents, key fields such as dates, totals and ID numbers are extracted correctly in the large majority of cases. We add validation rules, such as checking that line items add up to the total, and a confidence threshold for each field. Anything that fails a check goes to a person for review instead of being saved silently.

Can the automation also generate documents such as contracts and proposals?

Yes. Data from a CRM, a form or a spreadsheet can fill a Google Docs or PDF template, producing contracts, proposals, certificates or reports with the right details. The finished file can be sent for e-signature, emailed or shared on WhatsApp, and the signed copy is filed and logged against the original record.

Where are processed documents stored?

Wherever the business already keeps them: Google Drive, Dropbox, a document management system or attachments in the CRM or ERP. We set a folder structure and naming convention, such as client, document type and date, so every file lands in a predictable place and links back to the related record in the other systems.
